The family tradition began in 1966 when Ernie Severn started his auctioneering career. It was alongside his father that Bob Severn first learned the auction business, gaining valuable experience clerking sales and developing the skills that would shape his future career.
 

In 1978, Bob attended the Reisch Worldwide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa, where he graduated as a professional auctioneer. Since then, Severn Auctioneering has built a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and results, conducting hundreds of successful auctions across Ontario and beyond.
